Swim Lessons

It’s that time again to take a dip in the pool, relax and enjoy the sun. Once again, the boys attended their yearly swim lessons. Lauren, their teacher, focused on diving this year. Jayden was able to ride the slides by himself this year. He is a little fish. Skyler continues to progress and attempts to dive (A.K.A belly flop). My mom came along for a couple of the sessions for a little sun. We brought Lacee along who is also a little fish, but doesn’t know how to swim.

Happy Father’s Day!!

I wanted to wish all of the Daddy's out there a Happy Father’s Day.

Taylor is an incredible husband and father. He is an amazing cook and if he has the time will often times be seen in the kitchen more than me. He helps with the household duties and even changes stinky diapers if he is home. Love you Bud!

My Dad always has a story to share along with some advice. He is always looking out for the underdog and concerned about others wellbeing. He has an amazing heart and will always be looked up to by all of the grandkids who absolutely adore him.

My Grandpa is the silent listener who enjoys the company of others and avoids any spotlight. He loves spending time with the grandkids and attending all of our softball games. Love you Guys!!!

Chuckee Cheese

Skyler decided he wanted to celebrate his birthday at Chuckee Cheese. So he invited his cousins and a couple of friends and enjoyed his “Transformer” birthday party. We also celebrated the remainder of Aysia birthday. She loved all of the new dress up clothes she received and wanted to put them on right away.

Happy, Happy, Happy BIRTHDAY

June is a little crazy for us. We have 3 birthdays four days apart, two of which are on the same day and the other fell on Father's day. Aysia and Taylor had a little celebration with Taylor's mom. She watched the kids while Taylor and I were able to enjoy dinner at Tuscany. We would definitely recommend the food there. Aysia was excited about her new 3-wheeler and is very protective and selective on who can touch or ride it. The boys were so excited for Aysia's birthday that they decided to give her a few presents of their own. She received a stuffed giraffe (which was already hers), a musical xylophone that she had inherited with the rest of the baby toys, and an empty skittles container. She was so excited to open them though and they were happy that she loved the toys that she sees and plays with every day.

A day at the Aquarium

It is a yearly tradition to take the kids to the Aquarium. They have added on another area to include critters and sea animals from South America. The kid's favorite was the Anaconda. They love petting the sting rays and sea critters. Aysia wasn’t so sure about petting any of them, but she definitely enjoyed watching them behind enclosed glass.

Summer, Parades & Fun

We love summer festivals and fireworks. Our City hosted a carnival, parade and several activities for the family. My Mom brought Jared and Jodi’s kids and Noelle brought Lacee. Their pockets were full of candy and fliers by the time the parade was over. We then let the kids ride a few of the rides at the carnival before calling it a day.

7 kids, 7 & under!!!

Jared and Jodi decided to celebrate their anniversary and graduation with a trip to Hawaii. So I had the opportunity of taking their 4 adorable kids for 2 days. What do you do with 7 kids ages 7 and under??? If you have any suggestions let me know. I ended up taking them to the park which didn’t last long due to an incoming storm. So there I was pushing 6 kids in swings while the other played on the playground. The rain started to pour so I quickly grabbed the stroller, diaper bags, sippy cups, random shoes, candy wrappers and I’m sure a few toys that weren’t ours and shuffled everyone into an overloaded SUV. It was a nice break from the indoors. However, I must say I will never be jealous of anyone who has 3 sets of twins.

Father's & Sons

Now that the boys are old enough to enjoy an outing with Dad, I can enjoy a night with the girls. Actually, Judi, my wonderful Mother-in-law took Aysia and I spent the evening playing softball. As you can see I sent the camera with Taylor to take some fun pics of the kids during the outing and ended up with one photo. I guess better one than none!!!
