The Day Has Finally Arrived!!!

Noelle put her heart and soul into the hidden ornament in the back, center of the tree. It didn't match any of the other's, but we decided it was worth having part of the tree due to the blood sweat and tears, literally.

The day we have anticipated for over a year has finally come. We were able to set up and display our tree at the Festival of Trees. We definitely had a unique tree and one that will bring back many memories for people. We love our sweet, pudgy, cuddly "twinkie" Isaac. This is for you buddy! We hope you are having all the twinkies and sweets your heart desires. Save some for us! See you soon! We know the person who purchases this tree will enjoy it as much as you!

Giving Thanks!

For Thanksgiving, it was the Pikus "on year". Jared and Jodi's family came into town, so Mom hosted at her house. Shauna and Kyle came down and we missed Kass while she is serving her mission. Rob and his family were in Bethlehem celebrating. We had a great day. Shauna and I were able to finish up the tree for the festival and get our dishes ready for Thanksgiving dinner. We ate, visited, played games and watched football. We also had to put Lincoln back together after he fell from the basketball hoop. Luckily he has an amazing dad who put his lip back together with a single stitch. We could tell it wasn't Jared's first time stitching up a lip! He did a great job and Lincoln was so brave. All the cousins decided to have one big sleepover at our house. The next morning they got up early and started making a BIG pancake breakfast with many left over pancakes for the weeks to come. Then we went to a movie and came back to play more games and hang out. We were then able to show the Pikus family the tree we have been working on for months to honor Isaac. It was definitely an emotional moment, but we are grateful for his life and excited to see him in Heaven. Unfortunately all things must come to an end, so we had to say our goodbyes the next morning. We also found out that Baby Pikus #9 is coming in July!!
