Chase and Danielle decided March would be the month they would tie the not and decided our place would be the place to be. They were sealed in the Manti temple the day before, but because none of her family could attend, she wanted a traditional ceremony where her dad could walk her down the isle. Our garage was transformed into a reception center with floor to ceiling fabric and lights. Farm tables were brought in and Shauna then worked her magic. I was just there to take orders ;) It was 4 very long and fun days! After the temple wedding, we came back to our house for dinner which was catered by the Pizza Factory. Then a late night for Shauna and me, finishing up last minute touches. The wedding went smooth. I was a little concerned when Shauna silently mouthed to me that they didn't have the rings while the ceremony had already started. I had to sneak back to my bedroom, violate everyone's private space and frantically look through bags for the rings. After a quick silent prayer, a velvet bag caught the corner of my eye and I rushed back down the isle to give them to the "almost" newlyweds! They had a potato bar, hot chocolate bar and a Waffle Love Truck come for their reception and had a great turn out. Grandma Pikus was quite concerned that the cake decorator didn't have time to finish the cake. She said they didn't finish frosting it, I explained that is the style these days. She wasn't so sure since she is a frosting lover!! They also had a DJ and dancing which was fun. It started to snow as they left for their honeymoon and we all waved sparklers as they headed towards their truck. Aysia and Auri were flower girls along with Lacee. It was a fun reason to get dolled up (which I have never had my makeup done). It was a beautiful wedding!
