This was the 4th year in a row that I was able to
attend camp. It was also the first year that I stayed for the entire week.
Luckily it was a Stake camp this year, so our ward didn’t have to do much for
planning. We stayed at Camp Hinkley which is up past Heber. It is beautiful and
dedicated land. They call it the outside temple. Other than the little sleep we
had each night, it was a great camp. We played games, made crafts, went on an
early morning hike to watch the sunrise, sang songs, played MASH (where
Jayden’s name was a regular), had a glow stick party to the song of “Cotton
–Eye Joe”, floated around the lake in canoes while having water fights,
listened to Madilyn Page (famous singer) in a fireside and the best ending of
it all with a testimony meeting! Taylor did a great job holding down the fort
while I was away! Thanks Tay!!
