Thanksgiving 2016

Crafting the night before. We have always had the tradition of making at least one treat/craft for Thanksgiving. This year, the kids made cute Reeces Pieces turkeys. Can you guess which one they made for me? Turkey Long Legs...

Rob and Gege celebrated in Bali

Aysia looked up Thanksgiving hairdo's. We tweaked it a little to come up with our own turkey hairdo!

Taylor and Jayden did an exceptional job on the veggie tray, don't you think?

Noelle's cute family spent their Thanksgiving making hygiene kits for people who were devastated by the Hurricane that blew through Costa Rica.

6 hours preparing food and only 15 minutes to eat. Luckily it's only 2 more hours for clean up!

We all said what we were thankful for which the most common was the gospel and family. We were also grateful for the opportunity to talk to Chase in Arizona over Skype. We then headed to the movie "Moana". Unfortunately I was called into work and couldn't watch it, but the kids said it was amazing.

Good Hair Days

Aysia's always looking for fun hairdo's These are a few we have done in the past. For some reason she thinks she needs to stick her tongue out on all her profile pictures :)-

GO COUGARS!

Taylor's friend Shane invited him and the boys to go to a BYU game. Lucky for them, they were only in the outside seats temporarily. Shane was able to get them into a box seat where they stayed nice and warm. It was even better that they came home with a win!

A Year With Frog & Toad

Aysia was really bummed last year when she couldn't try out for her school play due to rehearsals conflicting with her dance schedule. So this year she was pleasantly surprised when they didn't conflict with each other. She has never acted, but loves to sing and act at home. She sang the song Peterpan for her rehearsals and gave the monologue called "The waste of a totally good jellybean" for her tryouts. Unfortunately no parents were allowed. She must have done well because she got one of the leading roles, Frog, in the play. They rehearsed twice a week for 2 months and performed 4 plays. They all did an incredible job. She is only sad to see it end. She's already looking forward to next years tryouts!
