In 2010, the Provo tabernacle was destroyed by a fire. All but the walls and a few items inside were salvaged. The following year, President Monson announced that the building would be restored as a new temple. Out of trials and disaster can come something much more remarkable. They restored the inside to it's original appeal. The original building was finished in the 1850's. It was fun to be able to take the kids through each of the rooms and explain the importance of temples. We are so blessed to live so close to so many temples.
