Todd and Dayna were in charge of the Yates Family Vacation this year. We went to Cherry Peak Resort where we were able to ride the Redneck water slide which was exactly what it was. A giant piece of plastic on a hill. It was incredibly fast and actually very fun. The kids were also able to jump on the trampolines and ride the tube slide. We then went back to the hotel, took showers and went to a park for a picnic and attend McCade and Aubrey's marriage shower. We were able to get to know them a little better. Then back to Grandpa Todd and Grandma Dayna's for a night movie.
DAY 2
The next day we all headed to Bear Lakes North Shore where we kayaked, swam, played volleyball and just lounged. We had to stop on our way home for some yummy razzleberry shakes.
Although the kids were exhausted from a day at the lake, they couldn't pass up a couple of rides at Lagoon on our way home. It was open for another hour so we stopped and were able to enjoy a couple of rides.
