4th of July

For the 4^th of July, we were invited by the Helm family for an afternoon picnic and games. The kids loved the water relay over their heads and the big water balloon fight to follow. Noelle and I had a plan to get Grandma Pikus wet and Skyler wanted in on it. We said he could get her wet anywhere BUT her HAIR. So on the count of three we all splashed her with water only to find out, Skyler dumped a whole cup on water on her head. Her expression was priceless, but I asked Skyler why he did that after we told him not her hair. He thought we said “Only her hair”. She was a good sport about it and it dried just fine. We then went back to our house and invited some neighborhood families over to watch the fireworks over the valley. It was pretty incredible.
