Mile High!

Each year I give the kids the opportunity to hike Timpanogos Mountain, Jayden went 2 weeks prior with a couple of friends on a midnight hike, watching the sunrise from the top. Skyler and Aysia took me up on the offer and Grandma at the last minute decided to join us. So at 6 am, we headed up the mountain. Grandma was already tired once we got to the trailhead since we had to park a ways down the road. So I sent the kids ahead and stayed back to hike with Grandma. They made it up in 2 1/2 hours and had to wait 2 more hours for us to join them at the saddle. Grandma was too tired to Summit so we headed up and made it to the shack where we signed our names. Grandma got a head start and we didn't meet up with her until the bottom. Grandma Woobie met us with Auri near the bottom as well and brought Coda, her dog and a few snacks. Then we went out to dinner at Blue Lemon and headed back home for a loooooong nap!
