Bright Lights, Big Nights!

After a Big meal, Taylor was ready for a nap! I didn't let him sleep long, we had a lot to do and see!

For my Birthday, Taylor surprised me with a trip to Las Vegas to see U2 in concert who I have wanted to see for years. We decided to make a little vacation out of it. Our flights were supposed to leave Thursday evening. As we were packing up to leave, Taylor got a notification that our flights were leaving in 20 minutes!! He missed the email that said our flights were bumped up in time 3 hours. So we missed the flight, but were able to catch a very early one the next day. We stayed at the MGM Grand which was centrally located everything. That day we looked around Bellagio and had a nice lunch at a restaurant near the Atrium, then we headed over to watch the Cirque De Soleil show "O". It was an incredible show and the stage and acrobats were amazing!

The next day, we slept in and headed to sight see a little. We ended up going to the Titanic Exhibit at the Luxor which was very well done and informative. They had several artifacts from the ship which was incredible that they survived as long as they had in the salt water. Then we headed to dinner with Shane and Mandy before going to the concert. We had great seats, company and music! It was a perfect, short getaway!  Thanks Tay!!!
