Swimming

St. Patty’s Day

“Green Day” is Skyler’s favorite holiday. He is so transfixed over the color green and will often be found crying if someone else ends up with a green toy or item he wants. So of course we had to make a green breakfast: Pancakes, eggs, yogurt, bananas & milk. Although it all looked VERY appetizing, I passed on breakfast that morning.

Ready for Spring

We had few beautiful days a couple of weeks ago. So Jared, Jodi, my Mom and the kids all took advantage of the weather and went to the park. It’s too bad it was so short lived. We are really looking forward to warmer temperatures.

Jr. Jazz

We thought Jayden’s favorite sport was soccer until he started basketball. Then we noticed a trend. His favorite sport always seems to be the one he is currently playing. I am sure his new preferred sport will be baseball in a few weeks. He had a really good time playing and ended up with a “really shiny” medal at the end!

New York

Janson, Lacee, my Mom, Layne & Teresa Pace (Janson's parents) and I all traveled to Lake Placid, New York to cheer Noelle on at the Skeleton World Cup Championships. We rented a great condo just within the city and relaxed a little. We shopped, toured the city and of course practiced our Cheerleading skills. Noelle was happy with her results, but even more pleased that the season had ended so she could spend a little more time with her cute little family.

Snowmobiling

It has been a while since we have taken a ride on some snowmobiles and it showed when we went with our friends Bart and Shonnie and their cute family. We both managed to get our snowmobiles stuck. It was a great day to go due to the recent snowfall, but it made getting out a little rough. We had a great time and the kids were able to do a little sledding as well.

Go Noelle!!!

There was a world cup race held in Park City this year so we were able to go watch Noelle compete. She had a lot of support up there and we all had a really good time. Thank you to all who cheered her on. I know she really appreciated it. She ended up with a Bronze medal. Congratulations Noelle!!!

Fondue Parties

We don’t have a fondue fountain of our own for a very good reason. We would use it way too much. But we have many friends and families that own one. Noelle and Janson brought theirs over for a “light” dessert. The large White Cheesecake looking dessert was actually a giant marshmallow. We cut it like a cake, but soon discovered a whole piece was a little too sweet. So we stuck to the fruits and brownies. MMMM!!!

Skiing

Taylor and I were finally able to break away and go skiing with our friends Bart & Shonnie. The guys actually went snowboarding and left the girls in their “dust”, but we somehow seemed to find them at the bottom of each run.

Lacee’s new “Do”

Taylor decided it was time for Lacee to sport a new “do”. It has been so much fun caring for Lacee over the last few months. Now that Noelle’s season is coming to a close, we won’t see as much of Lacee now. I have discovered many benefits of having 4 kids at home (2 of which are babies) including: 1) Saving money. I don’t even want to go near a store while toting 4 little ones. 2) An excuse to be lazy. If one of the babies cries, they need to be cuddled, therefore making the other jealous. So I end up just sitting there with 2 babies in my lap until they find something more interesting to do. That gives me approximately 10 minutes before the next cuddle session 3) Taking care of 4 kids has made having 3 very manageable.
