I told Aysia if she is going to take the camera, she shouldn’t leave evidence behind. She finally confessed! :)

The case of the missing Camera...
So I left my camera in the case on the counter and when I went back to grab it on our way out the door, there was the case, but no camera. So I asked all of kids where the camera was and all of them denied taking it. So after searching for 10 minutes, I told them that the first person to find it would get $1. Sure enough, Skyler found it a few minutes later. Later that day I was looking through my pictures and found the culprit. This is what I found….

Disneyland… without Kids???
When we were in California we were at the pier and noticed some little coin operated rides. So Noelle and I had a great idea to pretend we were at Disney Land riding on the rides. When the kids looked at the pictures they were shocked I would go to Disney Land without them. They were pretty upset. I didn’t let the joke go too long due to a few tears beginning to form. I told them I would never go to Disneyland without them. What fun is Disney without the excitement of little kids?
Saying Goodbye...
My mom’s brother, Mike, was diagnosed with Melanoma 3 years ago. He was in remission until just recently when we were told it had spread. He was on his way home from a Cruise and had a seizure. He was taken to the hospital where he was told he had several masses throughout his brain. He was only given a few months to live. So my Dad, Grandpa, Mom, Noelle and I flew out a week before Christmas to spend some time with him, our Aunt Pat and our cousins.
We had a really good time visiting. We knew it would probably be the last time we would see him so we just hung out, visited and watched a few games on television. He was a little tired and weary due to his Radiation Therapy treatments. We gave him a Snowfire hat to wear once he lost his hair. It was so good to see our cousins Andy and Samantha and their families as well. We actually went out Christmas Caroling with Sabrina, Andy’s wife and a few of Samantha’s children. While in California, we were able to enjoy the pier and ocean views. We were able to witness the most amazing sunset on our last night there. It will definitely be a lasting memory.

Christmas Programs
4 months and Counting...
Christmas Traditions
We were able to attend the Dicken's Festival this year and love the Christmas feel it brings. Shauna and Kassidi joined us as we shopped, enjoyed the atmosphere and ate fudge. We also were able to enjoy the Christmas lights downtown. It is nice to be reminded of the true meaning of Christmas. We tried to center our activities around Christ. There was still a lot of hustle and bustle, but we definitely kept our Savior front and center.
ART, ART, ART
The kids have so many art projects from school that I don’t have room to store them all at home. So I decided to take pictures of their favorite and most time consuming projects and post them so they can remember them forever! Skyler is actually taking art lessons and is learning about many famous artists. This is skyler’s self portrait Modigliani Style. Great job SKY!!!
Christmas is in the Air...
Christmas Recital
Jayden performed Joy to the World for his Christmas recital and did an excellent job. He was awarded student of the year from his fabulous teacher Miss Tiek! He is becoming quite the pianist and has been playing now for 4 years. We are now ready for Skyler to share his talents in the music world. He will start piano next month!
