Water Babies
Our kids love the water and can't get enough. The best is that they are able to swim in our back yard at any time of the year. I think their favorite time is Winter when the water is nice and HOT!!!
Hunting for the Golden Egg
Every Easter my Mom and Dad have the kids come over for an incredible easter egg hunt. There is not only candy and prizes found in the eggs, but money too. The golden egg, usually the hardest to find, has the biggest prize. Rob and Gege had a great idea and made a glow in the dark Easter Egg Hunt. We darkened the windows downstairs, used small glow sticks to light up the eggs and watched as the kids went crazy. I am sure there were a few eggs that weren't found, but will be a little surprise that might be found this year for someone.
Easter Morning
Easter has been one of the kid's favorite holidays. We made a tradition to make "eggs ala golden rod" (Taylor's treat) every Easter morning. The Easter Bunny is always very generous, but we remind them that we truly celebrate it in rememberance of Christ's sacrifice for us. The Resurrection.
Old Friends back together
Social media is a great thing. Taylor reconnected with an old friend, Les, from elemetary school only to find out he is an avid snow boarder as well. So both took a day off of work and headed up to the Canyons ski resort to Board. They both are a little crazy and extreme. I am just glad they came home and all in one piece.
Vegas Lights
For spring break Taylor and I wanted to plan a little getaway. We decided to go to Vegas for a couple of nights with the kids, then stay in St. George with Taylor's sister for a night. We rented rooms at the Golden Nugget because it had a waterslide that went through a shark tank and was very kid friendly. We had such a great time. We only went down town once (covering our eyes most of the way). We stopped by Pawn Stars pawn shop (seen on TV). It was fun to see the old memorabilia there. We then walked through Excalibur (Aysia's favorite princess castle), then to the Coke and M&M factory. We were able to buy a taste testers sampler tray that allowed us to taste a couple dozen soda pops around the world. Many were great tasting, however, italy had a very bitter one that most were not able to swallow. We watched the movie at the M&M factory. The kids wanted to go to the Stratiphere one night and ride the rides. Aysia and Auri were too small, but were able to go up the elevator to the top and over look all of Las Vegas. All of the boys rode the Big shot, straight up from the top of the hotel. Then I went on Insanity with Jayden and Skyler which swung you over the edge of the hotel. Skyler was quite nervoust. I was just glad he didn't throw It was mostly just relaxing. It was fun to so Mikelle and John on our way back home. Our boys just love playing with their boys. We wish they lived closer.

Hidden Dance Moves!
Talyor was asked to perform at a Relief Society program with another guy in the ward, Darin. The two put on quite the show apparently. They did a lip synch to the song “Old time of Rock and Roll” with the setting of Risky Business that starred Tom Cruise. They really got into their parts and did a great job!
Anyone for a Coca Cola???
You will rarely see Great Grandpa Wright without a Coke by his side. Many will say how unhealthy it is for you, however, he is 92 years old and continues to have a clean bill of health. He loves the simple pleasures of life.
Nothing like having the Chunkies!
One of the worst parts of parenting is when it comes to sick children, especially babies. I hate to see them feel so miserable. Auri has had her fair share of the flu bug this year. And yes, that is what you think it is floating around in the bathtub… she had the squirts. Poor girl. Lucky for me, I was at work the few times she has had her accidents and Taylor was the fortunate one to have to clean it all up. What a great Daddy!
Camping every night
Auri learned how to crawl out of her crib at 17 months, but kept getting hurt so Taylor had the bright idea of making her a “tent”. Now she asks for it to be placed on her crib every night and loves it. She hasn’t tried to get out again since we started putting it on.
