Random Pics, April 2014

The girls love to take random pictures on the camera. Here are a few Aysia took of me while cooking dinner and Auri just hanging out.

1st Grade field trip!

I try to volunteer to go with the kids on their field trips if I am available. This year, Aysia's class went to the zoo. Although we went for spring break, we were both excited to go and the animals were very active this time. I had Aysia, Mason and Haydyn in our group. They were so easy to watch and fun to hang out with. We loved the gorilla the best. We ate lunch with Ms. Southard which was fun. The weather was perfect as well.

"We're here for RSL"

Taylor and I have had a few great dates with RSL this year. Taylor tries to take any chance he can get to buy tickets and attend the games. It is a great excuse for us to go out and enjoy our time together. Go RSL!

Enjoying a little Sunshine

We love the seasons. Springtime gets the kids excited for the outdoors again. The playlet in our backyard gets used on a regular basis by the kids as you can see.

Lego Fun!

Jayden and Skyler continue to create and build with legos. It is one of those toys that will never get old. Skyler has actually joined a competitive lego team that will compete in January. He has an incredible imagination. He has built candy machines, robots, secret treasure boxes, cars, etc... out of legos. It can entertain the boys for hours, however the little pieces sound awful when accidentally vacuumed up!

More Fun... Spring Break with the Animals

We love to visit the zoo, especially in the cooler weather when the animals are a little more active. Grandma and Grandpa Pikus decided to join us. So we packed our lunches and enjoyed a perfect day! The monkeys are always our favorite!

BRING IT ON

Spring break 2014! We love our school breaks. We had many activities planned. We decided to take a little trip to the aquarium along with a few friends; Kenny, Sam and Lacee. The boys all decided to go on their own. So I was able to hang out with the girls. They loved the "shark tunnel" and 3D movie about tropical fish the best. We are so lucky to have such an amazing facility so close to enjoy!

EASTER 2014

We lucked out with some amazing weather on Easter Sunday. We had a great day going to church. We are so grateful for our Savior and his eternal sacrifice for us so we can live with him again. We invited Grandma Woobie, along with Grandma and Grandpa Pikus over for a simple Easter dinner. Grandma Pikus decided that they didn't get enough eggs at the Easter Egg hunt the day before, so she had another one for them. Candy, prizes and money filled the eggs. It never gets old.

The Joy of finding Colored Eggs

It has been a tradition for many years to hunt for eggs at the local park. They do an amazing job. Although the hunt only lasts about 60 seconds, all the kids get several eggs and prizes. Auri and Traycen loved it this year and actually understood that you can take more than one!
