For Memorial day this year, we were able to visit Great
Grandpa Robinson’s grave at Camp Williams as well as Great Grandma and Grandpa
Pikus’ grave in the Orem Cemetary. The kids had never been there and it had
been a while since I had the chance to visit it. Grandma Pikus brought a couple
of stories to share about Grandpa Pikus’ parents who passed away before Grandma
and Grandpa were married. It was fun to hear about their lives.

Lunch with the Mayor
Skyler was awarded lunch with Mayor Pengra after he ran a race that earned money for the PTA. He took first place out of all the runners and won a scooter as well. He loves long distance running and has great endurance. Great Job Sky!!
Mom's Day!
We were lucky to get a few amazing mom’s together on Mother’s
day for dinner. These are a few of my favorite people! I love you Mom, Judi and
Yvonne! (We missed Dayna, but we were definitely thinking of her)
We're here for RSL!!
Spring time is here... Soccer time is here!! We were able to take the family to an RSL game. Auri liked the popcorn and the treats more than watching the game, however she liked to dance to the music and make loud noises when we scored. GO RSL!!
Practice makes perfect
The kids have the opportunity to perform twice a year in
piano recitals. There teacher, Ms. Debbie is incredible. She makes piano fun.
They have parties, carnivals and rewards they can earn. They did a great job at
this spring recital. One of Aysia’s best friends, Sage, is taking piano from
Ms. Debbie as well.
Aysia: Radetzky March by Strauss
Skyler: Serenade by Schubert
Jayden: Tarentella by Beaumont
It's What Fun Is...
Since Aysia’s State competition was held at Lagoon and was
on Jayden’s birthday, we aloud him to take a couple of friends, Sam and Zac. He
along with his friends and Skyler went their own way and went on all of the
crazy big rides while Aysia and I hung out getting her ready for her dance
competition. Of course we found time to ride a few of the rides. We invited
Grandma Pikus and Grandma Woobie to join us as well as Lacee and Traycen. We
ended up staying until closing time. It was a very busy day and we were able to
get in a few more rides right before closing time. Unfortunately, the ride
Wicked which has claimed Taylor’s cell phone from it’s fast speed and vertical
drop also claimed my camera on this particular trip. I got it back, but it was
sent to it’s grave. It was a great day anyway and Aysia did a fabulous job!
