Go Utah Jazz!!
Soccer all year round
The boys love soccer so much that they play it all year round. At least we don't have to sit out in the cold for the indoor games. Skyler continues to be the goalie and Jayden a mid-fielder.
Know Before You Throw!
I don't think there is anything more dreaded than a science fair project for a parent, except when the child states "I want to win". Skyler had already done the 5th grade science fair and did really well, moving onto the district and region with both first place prizes. I thought he was done after that, however his teacher decided he wanted to let them give it another try in 6th grade. So Skyler decided that Grandma and Grandpa were wasting way too much food in there food storage because of expired cans and boxes of food. He decided to test each year they had of cream of mushroom soup for harmful bacteria. There are millions of people starving each year and millions of pounds of food wasted due to expiration dates. He thought since our food banks won't accept expired food, maybe we could send the food we would throw out to starving countries. Grandma and Grandpa had cans from 7 years ago which made Skyler's science fair project fairly easy. He found that there wasn't any harmful bacteria in any of the cans. Now if we can just find a way to get them to the right countries and people!
Now you see it, Now you don't!
The kids like going to plays and museums so we decided to mix it up and take them to a magic show. The magician was very entertaining and was even able to take a dollar bill from someone in the audience, cut it in two, and cut the half he kept out of a whole lemon he bought from the store. Grandma Woobie was able to join us for the excursion and help control the kiddos on the other end;)
Playing Hooky for a day!
Bowling with a TWIST
We decided to go bowling for family night one Monday, but
Taylor wanted to make it a little more interesting so he brought his big foam
cowboy hat that we had to bowl with. Taylor and Jayden had the highest scores
and I think mom lost. I will blame it on the hat ;)
All about Aysia
Aysia was able to make a poster about herself for school. She is 8 years old, has 2 brothers, 1 sister and loves to dance, hang out with friends including her cousin Lacee, play the piano, vacation, ski, and cheer on the ReAl soccer team! We love you Aysia!!

Saying Goodbye to 2015!
For New Years, Taylor's friend Shand and his 3 boys came up for a visit and to hang out. The cousins were still here so we played games, pieced puzzles together, ate great food and rang in the new year! Looking forward to 2016!!
