Winter Wonderland
Grandma Pikus bought us each a 7-peaks pass this year for Christmas. The Winter wonderland was included with the pass. We were able to go on the boat rides around the lazy river which was decorated with lights and animated characters. We were able to slide down the waterslides on sleds. It was a very cold night so we went for hot chocolate and Krispy Creme donuts after to warm us up.
Christmastime at School
Ayisa and Auri were able to perform a couple of songs at their school Christmas Program. Every year I volunteer for one of the kid's class parties. This year is was Auri's turn. I was in charge of the game this year so I brought the M&M Bingo game. Chocolate always makes a party better!!
P-A-R-T-A-Y!!!
BARN PARTY - It is a tradition for us to attend the Robinson Barn party every year. There seems to be more and more cousins that we meet for the first time each year. So we decided to bring our own cousins. Our favorite dance is the Hokie-Pokie. Always a great time!
Cousins with Great Grandma Vay
ROBINSON PARTY - We were asked to host the Robinson party this year. Janie Tom and Sierra's families were in town so we had a great turn out. We played a few games but mainly just caught up on each other's family events and activities. For dinner we had soup and bread-bowls.
HELM CHRISTMAS PARTY - The theme for the Christmas Party this year was "The Cat in the Hat". Kerry did a great job with the invitations, decorations and games. The boys were on campouts for scouts and weren't able to make it. The girls loved the piñata and of course the elf pants race. I think Taylor and I look very natural in our racing pants - don't you think?
Cousin Fun
-->
Noelle and Janson came for a long visit from Costa Rica
before moving to Minnesota. We had a
great time hanging out with them and the cousins. There is never a dull moment
when they are here especially with the twins!!
Winter Spectacular
Ayisa's hairstyle for the 2016/17 season!
Aysia's Team
Aysia's dance team was invited to perform at the High School's winter performance. There were only 2 younger teams invited to perform. It was good practice for this upcoming competition season. Way to go Aysia!
Skiing With the Jolly Old Fellow!!
Skiing in our family is a big MUST! Jayden brought his
friend Sam Powell so Aysia and I decided to hang together. We ran into Santa on
the slopes of Brighton Ski Resort! I must say he was quite the skier and Aysia
thought so too!
