Party Like It's 2016!!!

This year for New Year's Eve we were lucky to have Mikelle and John's cute family celebrate with us. The boys all went to the Jazz game earlier in the evening and then came to our house for the real party. Lacee and Traycen hung out with us as well. They were leaving early in the morning to Minnesota and Noelle and Janson needed to finish packing and get their sleep. We counted down and of course banged the pots and pans with metal spoons. It was a too foggy to see all the fireworks, but we could hear them. Happy New Years!! Looking forward to 2017!!

We love our Christmas Breaks! No School and even better... No Homework! We had a great time hanging out with family and cousins playing games and eating great food. 

Celebrating Christ's Birth

It was a magical Christmas. It snowed!! The kids all got what they wanted from Santa. Jayden - Hoverboard, Skyler - Lix Pen, Aysia - Kindle, & Auri - Playdough set and nail polish. We were lucky to have it fall on a Sunday and attend church. It topped off celebrating Christ's birth. We are grateful for him and his life as well as his sacrifice.

Santa Clause is Coming to Town...

For Christmas Eve we were invited over to Grandma and Grandpa Pikus's home for a little party. Grandpa was obviously just as excited about Santa coming as all the kids. The kids made little programs for the evening's events. We ate dinner, decorated a gingerbread house, played games, watched the kids perform the nativity and their talents and ended with the famous treasure hunt where the kids found a game at the end of the hunt. Grandma Dayna bought us darling pajamas that we wore on Christmas Eve. They fit our family perfectly!
