Miscellaneous - June 2017

I awoke one morning to a beautiful handmade bouquet of flowers from Skyler, Aysia and Auri. I now can say I have a new favorite flower - Homemade!!

Auri, showing off her gymnastic skills on parents day at TumblTime

I signed Auri up for a couple of camps this summer. One was for a gymnastics camp which a couple of girls in our neighborhood put together and did a great job and the other was a youth camp where each day was a different theme. This particular day was "Safari" day!

Hanging out at 7-peaks!

My, what long legs you have!!

My, what short legs you have!!

Enjoying the view from our back patio.

The kids found a mouse in the house while I was at work. It was very tiny and slow moving. Taylor said they could keep it as a pet. So they fed it and made a little home for it. Unfortunately it passed away a few days later. Taylor thought it was still a baby and needed its mom. Auri informed me they were going to name him Walt (short for Walt Disney). Poor little guy!

Happy Birthday Tay!!

For Taylor's birthday, I was able to talk Rob into giving us his Lion's Club seats for an RSL game. Lucky for us, it was a firework night. Grandma Woobie was able to join us. Leo the Lion found us and showered us with silly string. Although it was a tie, we enjoyed the game, great good and a great firework show. Happy Birthday Tay!!

Happy Teenage Years Skyler!

For Skyler's birthday, he wanted a hoverboard which meant he would not get a party this year. However, we decided to let him invite a friend, Tray, to go to Top Golf and to the Real Soccer game. On our way up to Salt Lake, we randomly saw a guy riding down the sidewalk on a couch. We turned around and had to see it a little closer. He was nice enough to let all the kids ride and drive it around for a little while.

Top Golf is a great place to relax, eat great food and work on your golf swing which I need a lot of help doing. Grandma Woobie came along and showed us all how to swing! It was a perfect evening for the outdoors.

We couldn't have asked for better weather to enjoy an evening soccer game. It was even better that RSL won!!

Happy Birthday Sky! You are growing up way too fast, but you are becoming the amazing young man we hoped you would become. Keep it up. We love you!!

Happy 10th Aysia!!

For Aysia's 10th birthday, she decided to have a party. She wanted the theme to be "The Beach". So she helped me make the flip flop invitations and found a cake she wanted to make. She baked and decorated it all with the help of her siblings.

They played "pin the coconut on the tree", beachball hockey with swim noodles and decorated beach bags.

Aysia helped me cut out and hang all of the decorations. She was happy with the way it all turned out. Happy 10th Beautiful Girl. You have made us so proud and we love you!!

Family Bike Ride- Redneck style

We couldn't resist the urge to take a bike ride one evening even though we didn't have a little carrier for Auri. So we went redneck style. Taylor strapped her on his back in a baby carrier that she is 4X's too big for and away we went. Taylor really got his exercise especially when it was time to ride back up the hill to our house!
