DECEMBER 2019 - MISCELLANEOUS

Celebrating Noelle's 37th Birthday at Grandma and Grandpa Pikus's Home

This was a sunrise taken from our back deck overlooking Utah lake and Mountains - No filter! We have an AMAZING view!

Sweater and pajama days at school for Auri, she doesn't hold back on the special dress up days at school!

Aysia trying on her point shoes she wanted for Christmas... Apparently it's a big deal!

Taylor and I were able to eat dinner at Midici's pizzaria before going to a session at the Salt Lake Temple before they close for 4 years. Taylor definitely looks satisfied with his food and the dessert that is soon to be devoured!

Our last temple trip to perform baptisms for the dead with the youth from our ward before the Salt Lake temple shuts down for 4 years for renovations. We started with about 10 kids and after we got there and were told it would be a 2-3 hour wait, 7 of them left. It was a long wait, but well worth it. We rewarded those who stayed (Aysia, Kiersten Dastrup & Lydia Prestwich) with a lunch at the Lion House. I love our monthly youth temple trips!

2019 CHRISTMAS  CARDS

Christmas Break 2019

Skiing with the Fam over Christmas Break at Brighton Ski Resort! Jayden had a season ski pass to Alta with all of his friends this year so we were excited to have him join us on this ski trip.

New Year's Eve was spent at Grandpa and Dayna's Ranch in Corrine with the Yates' family. We ate dinner, played games, hung out with cousins, watched football, visited and had an amazing firework show under the ice and in the sky to bring in the new year!

The Christmas season wouldn't be complete without hanging out with the Hafen Cousins and eating homemade Sushi!

The kids beg every Christmas Season to sleep over at Grandma Woobies. Luckily the Hafen's were up and it was an extra large party with the Woobs!!

We had a dinner and game night at the Pace's house with Grandma and Grandpa Pikus and the Smoots.

CHRISTMAS 2019

This would be the last Christmas we would spend as a family for a while since Jayden would be leaving on a mission the following year and Skyler most likely 2 years after that. It was a very relaxed Christmas. We dressed in our traditional pajamas that Grandma and Grandpa Yates send us each year and pose in our traditional pose. We invited Grandma Woobie over to play games and open gifts. It was a much needed low key Christmas. Aysia got her Ballet shoes, Auri a large LOL doll, Skyler a remote controlled helicopter that broke the first time he used it and had to order replacement parts over and over and over until he gave up, and Jayden a new Ski jacket. Taylor and I gave each other a trip to China that was planned for October 2020 that may or may not have been taken;) We went to the movies Christmas evening and watched Frozen II, a good way to end a Christmas day!
