It was the Robinson "off year" for Thanksgiving this year, but because Mikelle and John and cousins came up, we decided to go to breakfast the day before Thanksgiving. Kneader's was way to busy and crowded so we headed to Blue Lemon where we were able to hang out and visit for a while. The kids loved playing tag outside while the adults visited. Looking forward to spending Christmas with them!

Welcome Baby Yates!
Bridger and Baylie are expecting their first baby, a boy! We missed the baby shower due to us being out of town for fall break so we had a small one with Aunt Shannon and her daughters, me and Auri (Aysia was at dance), Grandma Dayna, Aubrey & Ashley. It was fun to visit and catch up. And of course, we were excited to hold Navy again. Looking forward to a new Nephew and cousin in January!
Sadie Hawkins!
Jayden was asked to the girl's choice dance Sadie Hawkins by his good friend Addy Easley. He was in a fun group. They went to breakfast that morning, then came home briefly, thinking they wouldn't get back together until that evening, but she decided at the last minute to head back out with the other half of the group and go to Top Golf. Jayden was the top scorer for the boys and Addy the top scorer for the girls. Then back home for 20 minutes to get their matching "table tennis" outfits on. They went to to take pictures, then dinner, then to play table tennis. They went to the dance and then dessert. It was a very long, fun, exhausting day!
Youth Conference - "If ye love me, Keep my Commandments"
I have thoroughly enjoyed my calling in Young Womens. It has been so much fun to get to know the youth and all their fun, unique personalities. I had the opportunity to go to youth conference with those 14 and older. We went to the Delta Power Plant which sounds extremely boring, but it was amazing. The facility has all sorts of activities including ping pong, pool, shuffle board, volleyball, basketball, big open rooms for sleeping, dining area and commons area. Jason Hokanson spoke for our fireside that night. He was paralyzed from the waste down when he was 15 in a car accident on his way to Lake Powell with his family. He is so positive and continues to make goals especially in sports - snow and water skiing, basketball, biking, etc... It was very inspirational. Then we had Sundaes and played games for the rest of the night. After breakfast the next morning, we had testimony meeting where the spirit was so strong. It was then time to clean up and head out. It was short, but very sweet. We also brought a neighborhood cat along with us in the back of the truck with all the luggage. We kept it in the back of the truck while a few of the youth fed it meatballs. He made it all the way back home alive and in one piece!
School Day Fun!
We forgot about Crazy Hair Day, so we looked up a few do's and this was what we made in 20 minutes! No bad!! Auri was happy and was excited she had twin hairstyles with her best friend at school.
I was invited to Auri's Raptor Reading where she read to me for 30 minutes in class.
OCTOBER - MISCELLANEOUS
We ended up giving up and getting a third car. Jayden got a job at Target and with me working an extra day a week, we needed to buy another car, Taylor got his wish and we bought a blue car, Hyundai Sonata.

Ghosts & Gobblins & Ghouls, Oh My!
For Halloween, Taylor and I headed over to the girls school to watch the Halloween Parade. Aysia was dressed as Steampunk and Auri a Zombie Cheerleader. Then I headed back later in the afternoon to help with Auri's class Halloween Party. I was in charge of the craft so we colored Haunted House door hangers. They were easy and the kids loved them. Then for dinner, we invited a few neighbors over for soup in bread bowls and goodies. Jayden had a small party of about 40 kids, Skyler went to Rory's Halloween Party and Aysia and Auri went out Trick or Treating with friends. Their friends eventually migrated back to our house for a late night play date. It was a great Halloween, one of my favorite holidays!
