Thanksgiving... a few days early

Dad, Mom and Jayden were heading out of town the week of Thanksgiving. Jayden's senior trip to Hawaii was ruined due to Covid so mom and dad promised him a trip when he returned. They asked him where he wanted to go and he said to surprise him so South Africa it was. He was bummed he was going to miss his first Thanksgiving back so mom invited those that wanted to join us for an early Thanksgiving over the Sunday before. Because of the interest and large numbers, Grandma and Grandpa volunteered their home for the feast. Jared and Noelle's families came over as well as Grandma Woobie. We are thankful at this time especially for family who sticks together and will be there for us thick or thin. We are also grateful for our Savior and his love he has for each of his brothers and sisters not matter the path they are walking on. It's a great time to reflect on what we are thankful for.

Family Pictures 2022

'Tis the Season for Hot Chocolate!

Auri really wanted to set up a Hot Chocolate Bar for us to have out on our counter during the Christmas Season so they went shopping and mom let her do her magic. She invited her friend Megan to come over and help her. They did such a good job and they were rewarded with the best hot chocolate ever!

Sadies 2022

Aysia decided to ask her friend Drew Smith to Sadies. The theme was bikers and surfers so the girls found their leathers and dressed up as the bikers and the boys the surfers. The day started at the mall where they went to Rush Funplex where they raced Go-Karts, played games and grabbed a bite to eat. After coming home and getting ready for the night, they had their pictures taken by Utah Lake, ate dinner at her friend Brynlee's house and headed to the dance. They headed back to our house after the dance for a crepe bar. Mom and Dad volunteered to chaperone the dance since Aysia's Drill team was hosting it. She either had to set up, clean up or have a parent chaperone so she thought it was best for us to volunteer. We actually really enjoyed it and loved watching all of the kids getting into the moshing which they tried to keep at bay this time since it can sometimes get out of hand.
