Halloween is Brewing in the Air

The Company dad works for, TCI hosted a Halloween party at Classic Skating. Mom had originally purchased an Elvis and Pricilla costume, but it was way too big for dad so we went as the next best couple and what we had on hand... Cinderella and her Prince Charming. We took first place for the favorite couples costume. Little did they know, this is just how we look every day;)

Noelle and Mom typically plan a Pikus Halloween Party every year, but unfortunately this year it was so crazy with everyone's schedules that all we could do was plan an afternoon with anyone that could make it to Cornbelly's. It was fun to get together since we aren't able to do it as often and the weather was perfect to walk the maze, play on the equipment, challenge each other on several games and drink our butter beers. Cousin time is the best time!

Mom loves the holidays and especially decorating for the holidays! Fall and Halloween is one of her favorites to decorate for.

The Drill Team performs a Thriller half time show at a football game every year. The girls look forward to making themselves look as Zombie-like as possible. Mom made sure to have 2 different contacts for Aysia. She has definitely perfected the Zombie look after 4 years of being on the Drill team and performing in Odysseys Thriller as a zombie 2 years ago. The benefits of dancing is all the fun extras that they get to perform in and be part of.

After performing Thriller at the half time show, the girls and moms decided they wanted to go see Odyssey's Thriller in Salt Lake. It has a been a tradition that mom and the girls try to go every year. It was fun going with Aysia's drill friends.

Carving pumpkins looked a little different this year. Mom planned making Chicken Noodle soup and rolls on Sunday and inviting the kids over to carve pumpkins while watching a Halloween movie. Unfortunately, Aysia decided to have her appendix explode the week before and missed it altogether. Poor girl. We will have to make up for it next year. Dad still finished the soup and they still carved pumpkins, just without mom and Aysia.
