'Twas the Night Before Christmas

It has been a tradition over the past few years to head over to the Pace's to celebrate Christmas Eve. We usually just bring all appetizers and goodies that the neighbors have dropped off and have a relaxing, fun night. We played our Christmas reverse charades, played the mitten game (unwrapping prizes in the rolled up plastic ball), opened gifts and watched the nativity. After arriving home, we played games and Skyler and Aysia accomplished assembling the "tiny" puzzle of the nativity.

Pikus Christmas Party!

We always look forward to our Pikus Christmas Party! Grandma Pikus did a great job planning it. We had soup and bread bowls for dinner. We played Bingo and the winners were able to open a gift in the middle rather than the traditional white elephant gift exchange which was super fun. Then we were lucky enough for a special guest to make a surprise visit. We were lucky that a majority of us have been good this year. We sang Christmas songs and santa read a short story called "I Believe in Santa Claus".
