Jayden is officially in 1st grade. It was actually a bitter-sweet day. He was so excited so I was happy for him, but I am really going to miss him around the house while he is gone for 6 ½ hours. He says his favorite subjects are lunch and recess. He must take after his Dad. Skyler also started his 2nd year of pre-school and will be learning to read. The other day he was talking about Heavenly Father and out of the blue mentioned we could just call him “Henry” for short. I asked him why we would call him Henry and he replied because then we don’t have to say “Henry Father”. Apparently he has been calling him by the wrong name for all of these years and I never noticed.

The "Henry" story cracked me up. I love the things little kids think and say. I also love Jayden's backpack, Noah liked his so much he's using the same one again this year!
