Bibidy-Bobidy-Boo!!

I was asked by a friend to dress as Cinderella for her little girl’s 3rd birthday party. (The real Cinderella had prior obligations so she asked me to fill in). It was a lot of fun and the girl’s were adorable. I have also filled in for Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) for another friend at work. After leaving the house I found myself skipping down a busy street with a basket full of berries while the girls continued to wave goodbye. With no where else to go, I found a large dumpster to hide behind until they returned to the party. A little embarrassing, but definitely worth it.

Play-Time

Raegan, Noelle’s niece came to play for a while after her little sister was born. We enjoyed relaxing in the sun and blowing bubbles. We will definitely miss our warm summer days.

Hardware Ranch

We were able to enjoy one last get-away before the cold weather arrived. We went with the Pikus Family to Hardware Ranch (about 20 miles south of Logan). We rented a trailer and met up with the rest of the gang who also had trailers – Thank goodness. We were able to take the ATV’s out the first day and enjoy the sun. On Sunday, we hung out and had plenty of water games and mud fights. Taylor and the boys even attempted rafting down the river, but were unsuccessful due to the small tube sizes. So Jayden decided to go down a portion by himself, only to find himself stuck in a clump of trees. He wasn’t all that thrilled, but he survived. Then the RAIN came. We all huddled in the trailers and played games. We were able to cook our Dutch-oven dinner in one of the ATV hauling trailers and it turned out amazing. We were a little nervous about getting the trailers up the muddy hill the next morning, but luckily we were all successful and made it home safely.

Bad Hair Day!!!

Unfortunately Aysia has already started the dreaded bad hair days. It is so nice to have a little girl with lots of hair, but it can be disastrous as well.

Box Elder County Fair

We have made it a yearly tradition to attend the Box Elder Fair. We enjoy watching Kassidi, Kyler, and Chase auction off the pigs they have raised throughout the year. This was Kassidi’s first year and she did an amazing job. The rides are always the kid’s favorite as well as the food and games. We look forward to next year. Thanks Smoot Family!!!

1st Day of School

Jayden is officially in 1st grade. It was actually a bitter-sweet day. He was so excited so I was happy for him, but I am really going to miss him around the house while he is gone for 6 ½ hours. He says his favorite subjects are lunch and recess. He must take after his Dad. Skyler also started his 2nd year of pre-school and will be learning to read. The other day he was talking about Heavenly Father and out of the blue mentioned we could just call him “Henry” for short. I asked him why we would call him Henry and he replied because then we don’t have to say “Henry Father”. Apparently he has been calling him by the wrong name for all of these years and I never noticed.

St. George

We were finally able to make a trip to St George to see the newest member of our family, Ace!! He is so adorable. John, Mikelle and Ace just moved into a beautiful new home and make such a cute little family. Thanks to our friends Eric and Kim, we had a place to stay. The pool was an added bonus. We were able to attend a RoadRunners baseball game with front row seats. We won of course. Thanks John!!! It was a quick, but relaxing trip and made it all worth it to see our little Ace.

Adorable Hyrum

We were so excited when we heard that Jared and Jodi’s cute family was coming to visit. Jared was able to complete a medical rotation at the U of U at the same time Jodi was planning a visit. He, however, was scheduled to arrive 2 weeks before Jodi so we were excited when Jared decided to bring Hyrum along. We had such a great time with Hyrum while Jared was in clinicals. The kids absolutely adored him and loved him, sometimes a little too much.

Seven Peaks

Thanks to Grandma Robinson, we were all able to enjoy an evening at Seven Peaks. Jayden and Skyler’s favorite ride was the enclosed tube slide. We definitely plan to make this a yearly tradition.

Good Morning Sunshine!!!

Jayden and Skyler’s favorite meal is breakfast. Jayden decided to make pancakes, with a little of Mom’s help of course. He did an amazing job of adding and mixing all of the ingredients as well as flipping the pancakes. Skyler was upset he wasn’t able to contribute so I let him make the sausage all by himself. (Microwave for 2 minutes & PRESTO!!!)
