Aysia told me she doesn’t want to get any older and this would be her last birthday. She knows if she gets older, then I get older and will turn into a grandma and the great grandparents she has know have all passed away in the last year. Skyler then reminded her that she should at least wait to stop growing up after 8 so she could get baptized. So that is what she has decided. She will stop having birthday parties after her 8th birthday because the birthday parties are what ages you, not the years you live.
She decided to have a pink and purple butterfly party. She invited her cousins Kaylee and Carlee along with Hyrum and Ammon. She also invited 5 friends including Lacee, her best friend. We had cake and ice cream then headed to a local trampoline park. She had a lot of fun. I am sure she may rethink the birthday party thing when her 9th birthday comes along.
