Poor Bambi!

On my way home from work in the middle of the night, a deer jumped in front of me and I couldn't avoid it. I was going about 60 mph on a local highway so I knew it had caused some damage. After slowing down and pulling over, I looked back to see the deer, but didn't see it. I didn't know if I had killed it or if it ran away. I called Taylor to tell him what had happened and ask what I should do. He asked how bad the damage was. I looked and could only see a crunched headlight so he told me just to come home since it didn't sound like a lot of damage. When I got home and assessed the damage, we realized I was very mistaken. The hood was crunched as well as the side panel and front bumper. $6,500 later, our car was as good as new. We had no engine damage, thank goodness. I saw the buck on the side of the road on my way to work the next day. It was around a 2-3 point... a little bigger than I first expected.
