OLYMPIC ADVENTURE DAY 5: Wednesday, February 12th
After waking up, we all decided to head back to Rosa Khator. Of course, Noelle stayed back again to focus and rest. We went shopping and walked around. Dad immediately got agitated that he needed a new wallet and has been needing one now for 15 years. So he was on a mission to find one. He said he didn’t care about the price, but just wanted one now. So off he went to find a wallet. We decided to have a group fast for Noelle that day that she might see clearly both physically and mentally as well as spiritually. We knew Heavenly Father brought her this far for a reason. It had been too long of a road not to at least compete. We went grocery shopping at the little market.
As we were walking through the city, Janson and I were stopped by local news reporters to ask about our experience so far in Russia. Of course we had nothing but good to say about the people and our visit. We finally made it back to our apartment and made dinner. As we all sat in the main living area, Noelle talked about her concussion. It was a very spiritual experience. She said she knew she hadn’t come this far to have her “not see”. She had 2 blessing from Janson already, but felt that she needed one more now that Jared and Dad were there. In the blessing, Janson said that she would be blessed with vision and would be able to see the track. The spirit was very strong. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room. We had faith she would see. We hung out, talked and watched some Olympic races on the television. We were excited to see what the next morning (race day) would bring.
