The kids had a full week off for spring break this year so we decided to take a last minute trip to Minnesota to Visit Noelle, Janson and cousins. Taylor couldn't break away from work, so I decided to head out with the kiddos. Our first day we traveled to Casper Wyoming when we hit a big snow storm. We were lucky to be traveling on April 1st because we decided we had to play an April Fools trick on Taylor like we do every year. The kids planned it out. We pretended to have car problems and took a picture with the hood up on the side of the road. We rented the car since we were traveling so many miles. When I called Taylor and told him we heard a loud noise and then smoke coming from the engine he was definitely worried. I said we were about 100 miles from any major city in the middle of no where. He panicked knowing that I wouldn't be much help in our current situation and started looking up towing options. It didn't take long before the kids started to giggle and we yelled APRIL FOOLS! We were able to get Grandma Pikus as well. She was a nervous wreck and ready to drive out to come get us. What a great Grandma!
