NEW YORK GIRLS TRIP - DAY 2

Day 2 started out bitter cold. We planned the trip over a cold front that came in. Luckily there was no rain. We headed over to the ferry. We had all been to NY before so we decided instead of taking the time to get off and see Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty we would just take a ferry and see them from afar. We were only outside long enough to snap a few pictures then we enjoyed the warmth of being inside the ferry.

As we walked the streets in China town, we came upon some meat markets.  We could smell it from  a block away. We were just glad it was cold weather. I'm sure the smell is much worse in the hot summer months.

We ventured over to Brooklyn where we all enjoyed the famous Grimaldi's Pizza. It was as good as it looks. It was a great lunch on such a cold day.

After we ate lunch we decided to get some exercise and walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. The sun finally came out and it was perfect. The skyline of the city was Amazing!

As we walked the bridge, we found a building full of open windows. We noticed 2 guys taking pictures of what we thought an ordinary building until we realized they were looking at a women dressing who was in her underwear slipping into a dress. So much for privacy. Maybe shades would help...

After heading back to the hotel and cleaning up, we headed out for the evening. Diana and I bought tickets to see Wicked. She had never seen it. Lindsey and Julia scored some very last minute front of the theater seats for an amazing deal. We met up after to eat dinner and head back to our hotel. Wicked was just as amazing as I remembered and Diana absolutely loved it!
