Our 3rd and final day we decided to head over to Ground Zero and go to the museum. I have been there before, but it is just has heart wrenching as the first time I went. The amount of lives that were changed forever is devastating. The new tower is now open and a beautiful memorial that lost their lives on 9/11.
After visiting the 9/11 memorial center we headed over to the Financial district and Trinity Church. The detail is incredible.
We really tried to get everything in that day. We headed over to the MET where we enjoyed looking at many famous artist's paintings including Vangough!
We were at the end of our trip and decided to dine at a restaurant near Central Park. It took a little longer than expected as well as waiting for our luggage from the Concierge at our Hotel. We really cut it short on making it for our flight. We all got our exercise running thorough the subway tunnels and the airport. We were escorted to the front of the line at security which we were not given a very warm welcome by those in line that we cut in front of. We sent Lindsey in front to sprint to our gate which they were just closing. They held it open for us for only a minute when we came racing down the hall. Our trip ended on a high note- We made our flight!!
