What’s better than going to Lake Powell? Going to Lake Powell with friends who have a houseboat! We planned a trip to Lake Powell with our friends, Bart and Shonnie along with their 4 kids (Lauren, Morgan, Regan and Jack). They just bought into a houseboat and invited us down. We brought our boat down and had an amazing time. We found the perfect camping spot in Bullfrog Bay. It was perfect for the kids. They had a big beach to themselves where they would catch little lizzards, make sandcastles, explore and hang out. We played games at night and just relaxed. We slept under the stars for all but one night when it rained. It was nice to have shelter from the afternoon and evening storm. We found a great hike where the kids jumped and played in their so-called “Quicksand”. The kids loved tubing. I was able to enjoy a slalom run early one morning when the water was calm. We had a great time! Thank you Wright family.
