Road Tripping
We had been planning to take a road trip in a motorhome for a few months to go visit Jared and his cute family in Idaho. We wanted to make it up to see the Twins get baptized. So we rented a large 41 foot, gorgeous motorhome and the countdown began. Sadly, 2 days before we were supposed to pick it up, the owner called to inform us that the family who had rented it before us blew a tire back in Kansas. It wasn’t a big deal until the tow truck came to tow it away. The driver accidently pushed the boom of the tow truck through the front windshield of the motorhome. So we were out of luck and desperate to find another motorhome. After searching long and hard, we finally were able to rent a neighbors that they were in the process of getting ready to sell. So we were in luck. Not quite as big as the former motorhome, but it worked well (other than the AC). So, Mom & Dad, our family, Lacee and Kassidi all piled in and away we went, stopping to sleep near Boise, Idaho. Then onto Cottonwood we went. It was a beautiful drive. We were excited to make it and meet up with the cousins!
