4th of July

Mom decided to take the girls to watch the hot air balloon festival at the Provo Freedom Festival. We sacrificed and wok up at 5am to get there before 6 in order to get a spot. Unfortunately, it was an overcast day and started to sprinkle a bit so they had to cancel the event. So we grabbed some breakfast and went home to take a nap.

We have tubed the Provo river on the 4th of July for 3 years in a row. It's a little crowded but its super relaxing and we even brought an extra tube this year in case one popped like last year making 2 people have to share. No tubes popped and no one drowned so it was a successful trip!

Auri went with her friends to celebrate the 4th while Dad and Mom grabbed some KFC and headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house for dinner. Aysia and Peter joined us for a bit as well. We then headed over to the Talus Ridge Park where they had an incredible firework show.

After the fireworks, Auri invited a few friends to roast some marshmallows at our fire pit in the back yard
