Auri was so excited to take the early childhood development class this year. Several of her friends took it as well and the weekend came where they were all given their babies to take care of starting Friday afternoon until Monday morning. Each baby comes with a sensor and charts when the baby cries for a long period of time. Auri named her baby Roco. The first night, the girls all had the bright idea to have a sleepover with all of their babies. So 6 girls with babies got little to no sleep that night since they all woke up at least twice during the night to have diapers changed, feedings and burpings. The boys came over early to cuddle the little nuggets which they apparently loved doing. Mom had to watch Roco while Auri practiced dance and little Roco struggled without his mama! He cried and cried the entire hour. Then he fell asleep when Auri was done with her lesson. Church was a little chaotic and she had to take him out once to get him to settle down. She wanted to take pictures with her little guy so we headed to the canyon for some mommy, baby photos. It was a long weekend but we will miss the little guy.
