DAY 1 - Flying to Texas

Mom and Dad really wanted to splurge on our family trip this year and so they did. They paid for all of the kids and families to go on a week long cruise toward the Western Caribbean. The kids were beyond excited and had waited 6 long months for the big trip. When our family got to the airport, Taylor dropped us off at the front so we could start our security checks with all of the kids. I thought it went very smooth with me and the kids. We found our way to the gate and sat for a few minutes. I then started to count the suitcases and carryon bags. I continued to count one less. I then made my way back to security to ask if we had left it there. Taylor was just coming through and we eventually discovered that, yes, we had left one full suitcase behind at home. It was Aysia's and she was pretty devastated until I told her she would get a whole new wardrobe once we made it to Texas. So onto the plane we went. Even just the flying was considered an amazing adventure. Auri giggled as we took off, she said it made her tummy feel funny. We were picked up in Houston by Kyle with a big rental van. He was kind enough to take us to a Walmart where Aysia found quite a few new cute outfits, swimsuits, pajamas, etc...  We were tired and grabbed some food at the store that we took back to the hotel to eat and get some sleep before our big day.
