We were invited to spend a weekend with some of
Noelle and Janson’s friends, the Lunds, at their cabin on Deer Valley Ski
resort. We weren’t sure what to expect, but it was well beyond our
expectations. The cabin was very large and certainly a play-land for the kids.
They had a variety of skis for anyone to use and lucky for us, Taylor was going
to have to rent since he has only snowboarded for the last 20 years. I was
excited that I was finally going to be able to race and beat him. But of
course, being the natural athlete he is, he was a pretty fantastic skier.
Noelle stayed back at the cabin with Auri while we skied since she was pregnant. The Lund’s paid for Aysia, Lacee and Traycen to have ski lessons which was incredibly generous. Both Aysia and Lacee passed their ski classes although Lacee’s card mentioned that she really enjoyed speed and needed to get it under control. Her mother was very proud!! They made us breakfast and lunch as well. We had such a good weekend. We hope to be able to “pay it forward” some day.
