APRIL 2025 - MISCELLANEOUS

So this year's Tuesday lunches became quite complicated once the Senior Assassin's game started. Essentially the Seniors are all placed on a team of 4 and given an assignment each week to spray someone in another group with water, trying to be the last ones standing. The only safe places are churches and schools. Well, that was until we had a Tuesday lunch and mom made a sign that they would not be fed if they were playing inside our home. She even had them turn their phones in since that is the only way to prove that you sprayed someone. The second Tuesday was great until all the kids had to leave and running to their vehicles to try to get away from other kids waiting outside our home. Unfortunately, because of the chaos, one of the kids backed into another car causing an accident. Luckily one of the kids knew the individual in charge of the game and marked our home as "sanctuary" since it can be dangerous with the amount of kids we have over each week. After that, lunches were great but kids had to drive their cars onto our driveway and get inside from there to be safe. It was insane and lasted a little too long. Aysia's team made it about 3 weeks. If Tuesday lunches weren't stressful enough feeding 20 kids each week, we might as well add on Senior Assassin's to seal the deal!

Aysia was living up the last couple of months of her Senior Year. Her and her two friends, Avery and Reagan went to a concert at Kilby Court where they were able to meet the singer Brennan

TUESDAY LUNCHES!!

It was that time of year when all of Aysia's friends that were going on their missions were receiving their mission calls. Her good friend Cash was called to serve in the Philippines.

Skyler's 1st Mission Reunion. He has been home for nearly 9 months. Some might say "The mission was the BEST 2 years of my life", but a recent quote said "The mission was the BEST 2 years FOR my life". It's so true, it's not easy but the things you learn and the ability to learn to lean on God is worth the short 18 months to 2 years!

Ayisa has been competing a solo for years. 4 years ago she had Nolan Richter choreograph her solo where she took 1st overall in the Utah State Champions at the America on Stage competition. With this being her last year to compete she decided to do it again with Nolan's Choreography. And once again, she was able to take 1st overall. They took the highest 3 scores and had them perform their solos again and then awarded the top 5 in order. It was a great way to end her solo era. Now it's on to preparing for college tryouts!

If you Believe then just stand up on your feet! Mom and Dad enjoyed a date night watching RSL

Chase and Abby needed someone to watch sweet Ryatt one day. She loves hanging out with littles and if she is available it will be a definite YES! He wasn't quite a year, but was becoming very mobile so mom had to keep her eye on him.

Tuesdays can't come fast enough for these kiddos and their free Tuesday lunches! Luckily with the nice weather they are able to enjoy eating outside on the deck and around the fire pit!
