DECEMBER 2024- MISCELLANEOUS

We already hit our insurance deductible for the year so when Auri had a sore under her tongue that was super painful and growing we ended up at the emergency room to get her checked out. After a CT scan they determined she probably had a clogged salivary gland and to try to eat sour foods to clear it out

Tuesday Lunches at the Yates House. Aysia routinely had 15-20 kids join her at our house for lunches on Tuesdays. Mom had to be creative with the lunches so it wasn't always the same. One of the favorites was the baked potato soup and rolls and Hawaiian Hay stacks

While the family was gone, Auri had a few friends over to make Cake Pops. The stick was a little long so Auri decided she needed to cut it down with some scissors and ended up slicing her finger. It bled for hours, but luckily didn't need stitches. While the parents are away, the kids will play and get injured ;)

Aysia applied for Weber State and UVU colleges. She was officially accepted to both with scholarships. Her choice would be Weber State if she makes the Dance Team and take the prerequisite courses to get into the Radiology program, following in Mom's footsteps
