Annual Pikus Halloween Party
Noelle and I always love to plan and host our Annual Halloween Party. We usually come up with a theme or something new that we haven't done before. But this year we decided to bring out a couple of our old ideas that worked well before. We invited the guests to dine with us at the Haunted Restaurant. We made up names of food and each guest was supposed to check 8 boxes out of 30. Unfortunately, if you did not choose a "pitch fork", Flying Saucer or a "grave digger" you ended up with no utensils or plate and were lucky enough to have to eat with your hands off of the tablecloth provided. We were nice enough to hand out garbage bags and plastic gloves to avoid too big of a mess. Grandma Pikus ended up with nearly all drinks and ranch dressing. It was a lot of fun to see what everyone ended up with. Of course at the end we let everyone eat what they wanted. We then went on to play "Minute to win it" games. Grandma and Grandpa Pikus did a great job trying to get oreos from their foreheads to their mouths. The last and final activity was our famous haunted house. We had them enter the maze in Grandma and Grandpa's large storage room under the garage. With Taylor and Janson's help, the fog machine and strobe light it really turned out great. Many of the kids were afraid to go in without the lights on. It was another successful Halloween Party! We were excited that Jared and Jodi's family were able to make it down and join us as well. We can't wait for next year!
