DAY 6 - Beach, Ballgame
We decided since we spent two full days on our feet at amusement parks, we would take the next day off and relax. So we went to the beach, made sandcastles, found seashells, flew kites and went swimming (at least the kids did). We took a picnic lunch and spent a majority of the day there. After we left, Grandma mentioned that her Sister was buried somewhere nearby and she had never been to her grave. I, of course, was shocked and said we had a mission! She wasn't sure of the name of the cemetery or the exact city. After several calls and internet searches, we finally found it. We bought a bouquet of flowers from a guy on the street while we were waiting for the red light to turn green. We were so excited we found it. We later found out that her daughter, Lisa was buried in the same cemetery, just in another section. It was a productive day.
We quickly got back to the condo where Taylor had made an amazing spaghetti dinner for us. We quickly ate and rushed out the door to the Angels game. We bought Dad tickets to the game for his birthday. He loves baseball. It was a huge stadium. The weather, once again, was perfect for us. The Angels won the game, which made it even better!
