On the 5th day, we porting at St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. We decided to take our time getting off the cruise and enjoy the flow rider while there was a short line. Each of the kids had a turn and did a great job. We then grabbed our items and headed out to enjoy the Virgin Islands. We found a tour company that was able to take all 26 of us in an open bus anywhere we wanted for the day.
Our first stop was secret beach which is exactly what the name means. There were very few people there and the snorkeling was great. We stayed and played for a couple of hours before moving on to the next beach, Coki Beach.
Coki beach was much more crowded, but there were quite a few more fish. We took dog biscuits to feed the fish which worked really well. I hear a loud scream while snorkeling as all the fish rushed by me. I realized Aysia and Lacee had thrown a few biscuits in the water and all the fish were attracted to them. There were many more than they would have liked to swim with. Skyler found a large shell that had a crab living inside it. We ended our snorkeling slightly early due to a rain storm.
It was our first formal night which is always fun to have an excuse to dress up. The food was amazing and the kids loved the escargot. We loved the little animals our room service would make for us each night and leave on our beds. After dinner, the adults went to the broadway type show while the teens went on scavenger hunts with their groups and the younger kids went to their kids classes to play games and hang out.
Auri loved her little bed. She could have shared a real bed with Aysia, but she loved her little window seat!
