Christmas in May!

For Christmas we have been moving towards gifts of time. So we gave Grandma Woobie a vacation to St. George with her kids and grandkids. It was over Memorial Day Weekend which was a beautiful time of year.

DAY1: We drove down to St. George Friday afternoon. Mikelle and Johns house was finally finished so we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy time with each other. The girls headed to the Tuachan Play, The Little Mermaid and the boys had a boys night eating Pizza and watching the new Spiderman movie. It was a little cooler than expected so we needed to take coats and blankets to watch the play. They did an incredible job as always!

DAY 2: On Saturday, we woke up and went for a hike that had checkerboard sandstone with a pool of water at the bottom. We ran into our friends, the Powell's along the way which was fun. We hung out and went back to the house for lunch and to hang out. The kids all wanted to go swimming at the indoor pool so we ate dinner and headed to the swimming pool.

Day 3: We went to church on Sunday, then packed our lunches and headed to a hike where we explored some pictographs. The weather was perfect for hiking. We went home to eat dinner then went for a bike ride and had a little family home evening with everyone. We decided to play Ghost in the Graveyard which was a lot of fun. It was fun to have the parents involved as well.

DAY 4: We only had the morning left before we had to get home so we decided to go to the Botanical Gardens where we hiked around and looked at the new spring flowers coming in. It was fairly cold and it actually started to rain. It didn't stop us from enjoying our last day with the cousins. It was a perfect trip with great family!
