September - Miscellaneous

Auri has some amazing hair, especially after she wakes up in the mornings! As you can see, she was still half asleep, but the "do" is quite impressive!

Boy's night at the RSL game

Auri and a group of kids from school (Cohen, Brody, Kassie, and Londyn) had to come up with a store that people would want buy things from. Toy Tock was a store that would sell all kinds of toys. She was the lucky one to bring the poster home.

Noelle was invited to speak at Hope Works (a church sponsored program) where people share inspirational stories at the conference center. She did an incredible job as always and we were honored to watch her speak.

Like brother, like sister. Auri volunteered to be the goalie for her soccer team this year. She did a great job and won all but one game, which was the game she couldn't make. I guess it runs in the family!

Noelle invited us to a King's NHL game at the Vivint Arena.  The seats were box seats which Included all you could eat food and drinks. It was a good close game, but the King's came away with the win!

Aysia hanging with her friends at Boondock's for her friend, Whitney's birthday party.

I don't have a set team I root for during the football season, but this year, I definitely wore more red since the University of Utah won their conference and ended up 5th in the college football rankings.

We had been anticipating a movie theater to open in Saratoga Springs for a very long time and the wait was finally over. A FatCats opened with bowling and movies. We went with Noelle and Janson to the movie Dora The Explorer where we ordered food that was delivered right to our seats during the movie. We were spoiled.

Baking Wars! The kids decided last minute that they wanted to have a bake off, but we only had 45 minutes before the kids bedtime since it was a school night. So Skyler and Aysia were a team and Auri and Mom were a team. Auri decided to make cupcakes with chocolate ice-cream cones and Skyler and Aysia made a lava cake with ice-cream and berries. The lava cake won for taste, but the cupcakes for creativity. Jayden was the judge, Lucky him!

For the past 5 years, I have been taking the kids and anyone who wants to join us to the temple for baptisms on every first Thursday of the month. We typically go to the Timpanogos Temple in the mornings during the school year and try and attend other temples in the summer (Manti, Salt Lake, Payson, etc...). We have had as many as 40 and as few as 8 that go, but they can always count on us going every first Thursday of the month!
