It is becoming harder and harder for the Yates to find time to get together due to the growing families. When Taylor and I were first married, they had an annual week long vacation. It soon dwindled down to a long weekend, then overnight and now we are lucky if we can find an evening. We decided on a barbecue at the park. It was nice that both Grammy and Grandpa were able to make it. They are both struggling with health problems, but it was good to get them out. We ate dinner, then had a family football game. We visited and took pictures. After everyone else left, we joined Troy and Darcy's family for a hike to Bear Canyon suspension bridge. It took a little longer than anticipated, but well worth getting back to the car in the dark. The sunset was amazing looking over the west mountains while hiking the east benches. Hopefully we will continue this tradition for years to come!
