The Hafen's came up for a quick weekend get away, so we made the most of it. We hung out at Grandma Woobies' house and went to the canyon to enjoy sack lunches by Briadal Veil Falls. The kids hiked around, made dams in the stream and held a recycled boat race out of the materials we had left over from lunch. Then we headed to Sundance to walk around and grab an ice cream which always tastes better on a hot day!
After we had cousin time, Mikelle and John invited us to attend the Blue Bird Concert with them at Sundance. The concert gives writers of famous country songs the opportunity to tell the audience why they wrote the song, who sang it and perform it for us. The following weekend, the Hafen's were back up for a baseball tournament. Unfortunately Dad and Mom went to Idaho for a concert so Jayden took the kids to Heber to watch Ace's game and hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Yates along with the Hafen cousins!
