Aysia didn't realize that the start of her Science Fair Project would lead to a long journey. She noticed that when Payton and Makai were blowing their candles out on their birthday cake that they blew so forcefully that spit was landing on the cake. She wanted to know what you could swish in your mouth to stop most of the germs from being spread prior to blowing the candles out on the cake. She swished with Coke, Lemon Juice, Salt Water, Mouth Wash and water. Lemon juice and Mouth Wash were the best. Although water was the worst, it was able to stop most of the germs from spreading. It was a fun project, and went on with a ribbon from the school, first place in district and a first place in regionals winning $40! She had the opportunity to move on for Nationals (only one in a thousand make it) , but the amount a work she would have had to put into her project and more reports wasn't worth the slim chance due to her busy dance schedule. She was very happy with her results and had a great time at the competition held at BYU especially since she had an excuse not to go to school that day! Just Remember to SWISH BEFORE YOU WISH!!
