On Day 8, we had to get the rest of the stops in while we were in San Francisco. So of course we went up the steepest street in North America as well as the Windiest street (Lombard Street). Then we headed to the Trolley Museum where we saw behind the scenes of how the trolley system works. It also gave details along with pictures about the San Francisco earthquake years ago and how the city had to be completely rebuilt.
We then stopped by China Town where we went shopping, ate some food and even visited the fortune cookie factory. Then it was back to the Pier where we saw the battleship and an old arcade where they had games, new and old from around the world. Jayden's one request was that we find somewhere that we could eat fresh oysters. We found a great restaurant where we dined and Aysia experienced eating her first oyster. She actually liked it, that's because she's a Yates! After eating, we headed back to the hotel where the kids wanted to go swimming in the freezing weather. They didn't last long and took even longer showers after they were done.
