January - Miscellaneous

Jayden went through a growth spurt and is just shy of Dad's height!

The Kids found a tiny baby mouse in the sport-court one night and it was too little and weak to even move. So they scooped him up and Dad said they could keep it as a pet. Of course I was at work when all this was happening. They went to the pet-store and bought a water dispenser, wood chips and food. Unfortunately I think he needed his mom a little longer and only survived for about a week.

We decided to make dinner for Grammy and Grandpa and spend an evening talking about memories and giving them updates on our lives. We are sad we don't get to see them as much as we would like due to our busy lives, but we always enjoy our visits! They have been such great examples to us over the years.

Anytime the we ask the kids what we should do for an activity, the answer is usually "Let's go to Airborne Sorts" the trampoline activity center.

Temple morning with Grandma Pikus

Unfortunately Auri gets the award for the first cavity out of the kids... and Mom! She is the first to get a cavity in our family since Dad and Mom have been married! She handled the filling like a champ and of course we had to go celebrate with a happy meal! Hopefully she will eat fewer treats and brush more!

100th day of school!! In Second Grade they allow the kids to dress up as a "100 year old". I think her costume turned out quite well considering I didn't know she needed to dress up until the night before while I was at work! You are beautiful Auri no matter if you are 7 or 100!
